A new paper on banana has been published

Banana is such an important crop in Oman but little research has been published about this traditional fruit crop. While the world is gene mapping it, we still lack the basic information such as the amount of irrigation and fertilizer required for various growing regions. This paper coauthored by my M.Sc. graduate, Khalid Al-Harthi from the Ministry of Agriculture, contributes to the fertilizer application aspect of banana cultivation. It is is published by Academic Journals in the Journal of Horticulture and Forestry, which is new in its first volume this year (2009). The journal is an open access publication so feel free to distribute and use the publication at your own well.
